A new music/comedy/comic festival in the Bay Area? SIGN ME UP! The inaugural ID10T Music Festival and Comic Conival was just announced and will take place at the Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, CA on June 24th and 25th. The weekend will feature artists on the main stage such as Weezer, The Mowgli’s and Robert Delong in addition to a Mad Decent stage with performances from EDM artists such as Madeon, Jai Wolf and Gryffin. Presale starts this Thursday, March 9 and normal sale Friday, March 10.
Check out ID10T performer Gryffin’s new song “Feel Good” with vocalist Daya, popular for her feature on the Chainsmoker’s track “Don’t Let Me Down” in addition to her solo tracks “Hide Away” and “Sit Still, Look Pretty.” Daya will be playing the Social Hall in San Francisco next Tuesday, March 14.
I found “Her. - Mogul Remix” last week and it’s been on repeat as I walk between classes all week, it keeps the pace of my workflow.
Hayley Kiyoko will be playing the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco TONIGHT! I’ve been obsessed with her song “Palace” since the end of last year– it’s fun, sassy, and fresh!
Portugal. The Man will be at the Independent in San Francisco next Monday, March 13. They always put on a fun show and I love their energetic bass player Zach Carothers, but remember the Independent is a 21+ venue!
Lorde put out a new single last week and it is classically a little strange, we all know Lorde likes to be weird. “Green Light” seems to have two different tones and I love the almost a cappella verse from (0:30-0:48).
Keys N Krates will be playing a DJ set at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco on Friday, March 17. They have lots of fun beats and I’m sure their live set would be a good time!
“Hesitate” by Zanski is a feel good song that reminds me of adventure, it is definitely worth a listen or five! I really just love this song and hope you do too.
